How It Works

From One Request to Provider Quotes

AirMedHub receives the mission details, alerts relevant independent providers through its internal portal, and organizes the quotes that providers choose to submit.

The Short Version

One Intake Path.
Independent
Provider Review.

A family or transfer team should not have to start from a blank list of aircraft operators. AirMedHub provides one intake path and uses an internal provider-alert workflow to place the request in front of relevant independent companies.

Each provider decides whether it can review the patient, route, aircraft, medical configuration, availability, and price. AirMedHub does not set the provider's quote or make its clinical or flight decision.

A request may receive one quote, more than one quote, or no quote. The result depends on the mission and current provider responses.

01

Submit Your Request

Contact AirMedHub by phone or through the intake form. Start with the patient location, intended destination, current situation, and requested timing. A coordinator may need facility contacts and current clinical information before providers can complete a review.

  • Call (888) 513-8077
  • Or submit the online request form
  • A coordinator reviews the available request details

Portal Alerts Relevant Providers

After AirMedHub receives and records the request, the internal portal can alert relevant provider relationships. The alert gives each provider an opportunity to review whether the mission may fit its operation and medical capability.

A provider is not required to respond or quote. Any response remains subject to its own clinical acceptance, aircraft and crew availability, operational review, facility readiness, and permissions. Read AirMedHub's provider review method.

03

Review the Quotes Received

A provider that can propose the mission may submit its quote through AirMedHub. AirMedHub organizes the quote or quotes received so the customer can review the named provider, proposed aircraft and medical plan, complete route, timing assumptions, price, inclusions, exclusions, and terms.

The provider controls its quote and acceptance criteria. AirMedHub can explain how the received options are organized, but the customer decides whether to authorize one. See what an air ambulance quote should include.
